Bible Story and Activity Week 2

This week we continued to read about Noah' Ark. We finished the story and learned that God put a rainbow in the sky as a sign of His promise to never again flood the earth. Little Sweets is too little to make a rainbow. Instead we talked about the colors in the rainbow and I helped her make a colorful collage using fruit loops.

Bible Activity-Jesus loves the little children

I decided to continue with the love theme I started last week. So this week's Bible Verse was Mathew 19:14 Jesus said, " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." I read the story to little sweets out of her children's Bible. Then we listened to the song Jesus loves the little children. Later on in the day we made a collage. I wrote the words Jesus loves the little children on construction paper. I glued a printed out copy of the Bible verse. Then I had Little Sweets glue pictures of children she knew on the collage. We talked about how Jesus loves the children.
